We’re ten editions deep! Social has churned through hundreds of trends since we started the Social Media Trends Report (most already forgotten). But these are the few trends worth your brand’s attention right now, and how you can use them for your business, whether you’re a start-up skin care line or a storied corporation with thousands of employees.

Social Media Trend #1: I’ll Be There

This trend uses a viral clip from the Boss Baby movie to spotlight the one person, product, or thing that (annoyingly or reliably) always shows up.

How to use this social media trend:

Highlight Standout Features: Spotlight the feature that consistently saves clients time in a crunch, like your automated reporting or instant dashboards.

Humanize Internal Teams: Introduce the team that’s always there when issues arise. Putting faces to customer support builds confidence and strengthens the emotional connection with prospective clients.

#CorporateBusinessTip: Make the “always there” the product itself—the truck that never misses a delivery, the device that’s visible everywhere, or the platform that’s always running.

Social Media Trend #2: The Summer I…

The TV show “The Summer I Turned Pretty” is all the rage right now, and so is this trend. Creators of all kinds are using the caption, “The summer I…” to show off a memorable moment from the past few months. As a business, it’s your chance to showcase recent wins that you’re proud of.

How to use this social media trend:

Highlight a Company Milestone: Highlight an internal win like, “The summer we doubled our [insert product] orders.” This signals interest and growth, giving buyers confidence to pull the trigger.

Partnership Flex: Show off a collaboration with a caption like, “The summer we co-launched with [insert big client] and broke into 3 new markets.” Associating your brand with recognizable partners builds credibility, buzz, and interest.

#CorporateBusinessTip: Make it personal for your audience. Instead of a generic win, highlight how your work made their summer better—faster shipping, better tools, smoother service.

Social Media Trend #3: Freeze Frame

The “Freeze Frame” trend tricks your audience into thinking they’re staring at a still photo—then surprise, it’s actually a video. That little shock keeps people watching (and rewatching). Most creators use it for silly selfies, but your brand can use it to give a peek behind the curtain—whether it’s your team, your product in action, or the impact you’re making for clients.

How to use this social media trend:

Event Reveal: Freeze-frame a picture of the audience at a brand event, and then reveal the in-person energy and excitement. Use the moment to build FOMO and drive anticipation of future events.

Product in Action: Start with a frozen dashboard and then show live updates rolling in. Think of it as a product demo and show the value of your product in seconds.

#CorporateBusinessTip: Freeze on one employee or customer, then widen into the full team or community. Signals that individuals are the heartbeat of the brand.

Social Media Trend #4: Who’s the Imposter?

The “Who’s The Imposter?” trend is basically group trivia with a twist: everyone knows the secret word except one unlucky person who’s scrambling to fake it until they make it. The fun comes from watching them bluff their way through and eventually get called out. For businesses, it’s a goldmine for showing off expertise, industry humor, or even your company culture—all while keeping things light and shareable.

How to use this social media trend:

Bust Industry Myths: Create text overlay with one question and multiple possible answers (i.e. three true, one “imposter”). For example, “Which of these is NOT a real SEO ranking factor?” Encourage the audience to comment with their guesses. This works because it drives engagement while educating prospects about common industry pitfalls, positioning your brand as the expert.

Differentiate Your Offering: Use the format to highlight your product or service advantages. For example, “Which of these features do our competitors not have?” The interactive angle gets prospects curious and reinforces why your brand is the obvious choice.

#CorporateBusinessTip: Turn the trend into a client education series by using spotlighting the “imposters” in your industry such as outdated tactics, overhyped tools, or “too good to be true” promises. Pair each with your recommended alternative. It builds authority and trust, nudging prospects toward your solution without the hard sell.

Social Media Trend #5: August

This trend rides on the No Love track by August Alsina and Nicki Minaj. Creators are using it as a hook to preview exciting things happening this month, from events to product drops to announcements. It’s basically a built-in hype machine for whatever you’ve got cooking. For your brand, it’s a golden opportunity to show off momentum, tease launches, or highlight customer wins.

How to use this social media trend:

Launch Hype: Have something shiny dropping before the end of the month? Pair it with this track for instant drama. Flash a “Coming this week…” text overlay, then tease sneak peeks of your product or service upgrade. Your audience gets the buzz and the FOMO, which equals clicks and conversions.

Customer Wins Spotlight: Highlight your client milestones, new partnerships, or growth stats. For example, start with overlay text like August highlights and then swipe through quick snapshots of customer success stories or key wins.

#CorporateBusinessTip: Frame your August highlights in a way that shows how you solved real business challenges (faster onboarding, smoother integrations, higher ROI). That way, your “we’re killing it” moment doubles as proof points that nudge prospects to picture themselves getting the same results.
